The Date Palm Research Center at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, organized a training workshop on estimating the chemical content in plants and measuring certain physical properties of soil.
The workshop aimed to equip postgraduate students with the necessary scientific skills and to provide a supportive research environment for conducting accurate and reliable chemical analyses.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Muntaha Abdul-Zahra Ati and Dr. Halima Jabbar, included training on estimating total soluble carbohydrates and measuring plant proline content on a fresh-weight basis, in addition to explaining the key laboratory procedures related to these analyses.
