The seminar, presented by Master's student Hawraa Kadhim Abdul Hussein, aimed to prepare a mixture of silver particles and fibrous cellulose extracted from paper waste and to study its efficiency in absorbing organic dyes from aqueous solutions.
It also addressed evaluating the factors affecting the adsorption process and the possibility of reusing the adsorbent material in an environmentally friendly manner.
