A master's thesis at the faculty of biology at the University of Basrah (Investigate the effect of nicotine on biofilm formation by bacteria isolated from rhinosinusitis patients), and showed the researcher's thesis (Gufran Ali Fairuz Abdul-Razaq) definition of the disease and the dangers of smoking . Thesis aims to identification of bacteria causing rhinosinusitis and studied the effect of nicotine on biofilm formation in smokers and non-smokers patients and concluded isolation of different bacterial species which caused the disease and enhancement of nicotine for biofilm formation.... and recommended restricted using antibiotics and quitting smoking.
