
A joint research team included a lecturer from Basrah University and lecturers from other international universities conducted a study titled "The World Declining Economy And Coronavirus Pandemic: Systems Should be Continued".
The joint study highlighted the 2020 financial crisis due to Coronavirus as a sudden and negative exogenous trauma that influenced the economies of all countries and the rest of vital and social pillars in the world via focusing on corporate governance and Islamic finance industry as control systems and methods that should be continued in the time of current pandemic.
The joint study published in Russian Journal of Agricultural and Socio-Economic Sciences(RJOAS) published in DOAJ. RJOAS aims at establishing a bridge between theory and practice in the fields of agriculture and socio-economic research.
The joint study suggested which systems should be continued under the unusual economic changes facing the whole world because of this awful pandemic.
It is worth mentioning that the joint research team are represented by Dr. Tariq Tawfeeq Yousif from Accounting department, College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, Dr. Essia Ries Ahmed from University of Nizwa, Oman, and Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Nor from from SIMAD University in Mogadishu, Somalia.
