The Joint patent, which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, reviewed modifying the chemical composition of Amoxicillin and to conduct experiments and tests to demonstrate their effectiveness as an antioxidant inside and outside the cells using laboratory rats.
The Joint patent concluded that the prepared compound actually preventing hemoglobin oxidation and converting it into meth hemoglobin in addition to the effectiveness of the prepared compound as an anti-cell division(Mitosis).
It is worth mentioning that the Joint research team included the faculty members at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basrah Dr.Wasfi Abood Al-Masoudi, Dr. Hassan Tohme Muhammad, and the researcher Mr. Adel Amin Hama from College of Health and Medical Technologies – Baghdad, Middle Technical University.
