
Dr. Hammadi added that we keen on achieving our university aims at meeting the needs of the local community by supporting projects that supplying the local market with processed foods from meat and chicken.
For his part, the dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Sajid Saad Al-Noor, said that the main purpose behind establishing the Food Industries Lab is to develop the experiences of undergraduate and postgraduate students, by applying the practical side of their study, qualifying them to open their own projects after graduation.
Al-Noor reviewed the importance of the University brand and the confidence it gained from the Basrah community through the quality of its products, which manufacturing under the supervision of faculty members in the Food Sciences department, College of Agriculture.
