The fourth stage team in the college won the title of the chess championship at the expense of the third stage team, as part of the chess tournament organized by the Sports Activities Unit at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, and Dr. Sanaa Jawad, in charge of the Sports Activities Unit, indicated: The students' performance was wonderful and they practiced all sports in general. The students' response to the sports games was in a serious manner, they came on the dates set for the games after announcing the schedule of matches and their sportswear, and they are asking about the establishment of various tournaments for sports games and the chess tournament is considered an intellectual game that stimulates the student and activates the brain cells in a large way and this is reflected even on the scientific level of the student
