The Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy organized a specialized scientific seminar titled: "The Role of Food in Cancer Development and Treatment," reviewing the link between diet and oncology.
Dr. Noor Abdul-Rahman addressed nutrition as a key factor in disease progression, highlighting the risks of sugars and red meats while emphasizing the protective role of olive oil and antioxidants in enhancing the body's response to chemotherapy and radiation.

The seminar concluded that balanced nutrition is a therapeutic pillar that accelerates healing and improves patients' quality of life. This paves the way for integrating specialized dietary regimens under medical supervision as essential adjuncts to modern cancer treatment protocols.
