The College of Education for Humanities Organizes a Scientific Workshop on English Language and Future Prospects
The English Department at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, organized a scientific workshop entitled "English Language… Prospects and Future," with the participation of first-year students.
The workshop aimed to introduce new students to the vast opportunities offered by learning English, particularly in scientific research and in providing diverse job opportunities both within and outside Iraq.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Amin Akal Ghilan, Instructor Ahmed Subaih Khalaf, and Instructor Jumaa Shiyal Badiwi, included an explanation of the importance of mastering English in building a successful professional future. It also clarified the nature of university life and the Ministry of Higher Education's regulations for students, especially those related to attendance, adherence to the uniform, and university conduct.
