The College of Education for Humanities Organizes a Scientific Seminar on Lady Umm al-Banin
The Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, in cooperation with the Al-Thaqalayn Cultural Center of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, organized a scientific seminar entitled "Loyalty and Love for the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) – Umm al-Banin as a Model," with the participation of a number of faculty members and students.
The seminar aimed to highlight the prominent role of Lady Umm al-Banin (peace be upon her) in embodying the values of loyalty and devotion to the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) and to showcase her status in Islamic history.
The seminar, presented by a group of specialists, included a discussion of the doctrinal and historical dimensions of the concept of loyalty to the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), an explanation of Lady Umm al-Banin's moral and humanitarian contributions to the mission of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and her influential role in supporting the path of truth and raising a generation of men who defended Islamic principles.
