The Polymer Research Center at the University of Basrah organized an evaluation conference for the academic year 2024-2025 on December 16, 2025. The conference was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Khazal, the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Ali A.I, the Dean's assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, and a select group of university professors and specialized researchers. This conference was part of the center's ongoing efforts to evaluate research performance. The conference discussed the most prominent achievements of the center during 2024-2025, in addition to reviewing challenges and developing future plans to enhance the quality of scientific research and academic publications. Dr. Haider Khazal, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, emphasized that the conference represents a milestone for reviewing the research trajectory and developing work mechanisms in accordance with established academic standards.The conference concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at improving the state of scientific research and supporting researchers.
