The Date Palm Research Center at the University of Basrah held its annual evaluation conference for the academic year 2024-2025, in the presence of the Secretary of the University Council, Dr. Majid Abdullah Natiq, and senior faculty members.
The conference featured a presentation by the Director of the Center, Dr. Khairullah Mousa Awad, which highlighted the center’s most prominent scientific and research achievements, including published research, scientific workshops, seminars, panel discussions, and applied field activities aimed at developing the date palm sector.
Awad noted that the center's researchers, across various scientific ranks and agricultural, environmental, and technical specialties, have achieved significant scientific and research milestones over the past four years, contributing to the advancement of scientific research and serving the agricultural community in Basrah Governorate.
