The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra participated in the live free drawing competition, organized by the Student Activities Department in cooperation with the College of Nursing, with wide participation from various colleges within the university.
The college achieved a remarkable accomplishment when student Shams Essam Abdullah from the Geography Department won third place, in recognition of her artistic creativity and excellence in presenting a painting that embodied a conscious artistic and cultural vision.
This competition served as a prominent cultural and artistic platform, showcasing promising student talents and reflecting a conscious engagement with the concepts of art and culture. It also contributed to strengthening the presence of artistic activity within scientific and academic circles.
The college's participation was supervised by Mr. Hussein Ali, Head of the Artistic and Cultural Activities Unit, and overseen by Mr. Asaad Bader, who emphasized the importance of supporting students' creative energies and encouraging their active participation in cultural and artistic events
