The Arabic Language Department at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, organized a five-day training course on the correct use of Arabic, targeting college staff.
The course aimed to develop language skills, enhance administrative efficiency, and promote the correct and proper use of Arabic in official correspondence and documents.
The course, presented by a group of professors from the Arabic Language Department, included lectures addressing the most common linguistic and spelling errors in official documents. Emphasis was placed on the importance of correct language and proper phrasing, as well as providing practical examples and guidance to improve participants' writing performance, raise the standard of administrative work, and preserve the integrity of the Arabic language as a cornerstone of official and institutional communication
