The Date Palm Research Center at the University of Basrah has published the second issue of Volume (24) for the year 2025 of the Basrah Journal for Date Palm Research.
The issue comprises 113 pages and includes seven scientific research papers covering a range of topics, including the study of biological characteristics and oil content of date palm pollen grains; the effect of ozone fumigation and packaging type on date storage; the response of date palms to environmental stresses; the impact of nano-potassium foliar application on fruit quality traits; the date palm dust mite and methods of its control; bioactive compounds and antioxidant activity extracted from the hearts of date palm offshoots; as well as the effect of antioxidants in enhancing the anatomical characteristics of date palm offshoots under salinity stress.
