The Department of History at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division and the Guidance Unit, organized an orientation seminar for first-year students.
The seminar aimed to familiarize students with the university's disciplinary regulations and procedures, explain their rights and responsibilities, and outline appropriate conduct on campus.
The seminar, presented by several faculty members from the Department of History, addressed a number of important topics, including the mechanisms for adhering to university rules and regulations, the importance of upholding academic ethics, the students' role in preserving the university's reputation and property, and answering students' questions related to their academic progress
