The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on learning design for the second unit of the engineering specialization, as part of the sixth session of the updated curriculum's teaching methods course.
The lecture aimed to introduce the fundamental requirements for designing a lesson or course using modern methods.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Audai Basheer Issa, a faculty member in the College of Engineering, included an explanation of the concept of learning design, Bloom's Taxonomy and its levels, the mechanism for preparing educational objectives, types of learning, and the application of digital learning design tools.
The lecture recommended the necessity of employing modern technologies in blended learning.
