The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture as part of the sixth Teaching Methods course for applied specializations, entitled "Measurement, Evaluation, and Assessment – Unit Three."
The lecture aimed to clarify the fundamental concepts of measurement, evaluation, and assessment, focusing on the role of feedback and the use of rubrics in improving educational performance.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Zainab Ali Khalaf, covered four main topics: measurement, evaluation, assessment, and feedback. It also included practical activities and group discussions that contributed to solidifying a practical understanding of these concepts and enhancing the trainees' ability to apply them in the educational process.
