The Date Palm Research Center at Basra University participates in the holding of a scientific colloquy on date palm
The auspices of the counselor of Basrah University, the Date Palm Research Center cooperated with the College of Agriculture and the Directorate of Agriculture in Basra Governorate in holding a scientific colloquy on date palms, under the title (Requirements For The Reality Of Date Palm Trees In Basrah, Re-Multiplying And Developing Them), The colloquy activities included present many lectures and seminars, which participated researchers from inside and outside Iraq. The Date Palm Research Center has participated in three lectures about the date palm problems and the most important modern techniques used in the propagation of date palm
