The Arabic Language Department and the Guidance Unit at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a workshop on healthy and unhealthy diets and their impact on heart attacks. The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and students.
The workshop aimed to highlight the dangers of unhealthy eating habits and their negative repercussions on human and public health.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Sajjad Salem Al-Mousawi, Dr. Sundus Baqir Dawood, Dr. Firas Abdul Qadir Jassim, and Mr. Ahmed Abdul Wahab Abdul Razzaq, emphasized the importance of adhering to a healthy diet, following sound health guidelines, and reducing the consumption of unhealthy foods due to their serious health consequences.
