The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar : Relationship between biofilm formation and antifungal resistance of pathogenic Candida species. by the graduate student Nahla Kadim Ibrahem Ali. The study aims isolation and identification of pathogenic Candida species from immunocompromised patients. and included detection of biofilm formation by phenotypic and genotypic aspects, and the study was recommended study the relation of other disorders in immunocompromised patients with fungal infection like chronic and transitional diseases.
