The Faculty of science at the University of Basra participated in the College Gardens afforestation campaign within the afforestation campaign launched by the University of Basra for the purposes of Environmental Conservation to contribute to the sustainability of the infrastructure of gardens and corridors at the University of Basra and its formations
The afforestation process was carried out under the supervision and presence of Dr. Ali abdulamam Abdul Zahra, dean of the Faculty of Science and head of the chemistry department, and a group of faculty teachers, staff and students, with the contribution of the faculty staff of gardeners
