A Master's Thesis at the University of Basra Examines the Impact of Aggressive Leadership on Employee Behavior

A master's thesis at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basra, examined the impact of aggressive, theatrical leadership and job insecurity on employee behaviors related to organizational voice and silence. The study was an applied analysis of a sample of employees working at the Basra Health Directorate.

The thesis, submitted by student Abdul-Razzaq Salman Abdul-Sayed, aimed to diagnose the extent to which leadership styles and job insecurity affect employee behavior, while also highlighting the mediating role of job inclusion and work-life conflict.

The thesis concluded that aggressive, theatrical leadership does not directly affect behaviors related to voice and silence, while job inclusion contributes to fostering positive behaviors.

The thesis recommended promoting positive leadership styles and supporting a work environment that encourages organizational communication and mitigates the negative effects of aggressive leadership.
