The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra Directorate of Youth and Sports, organized a workshop on entrepreneurial skills to promote small businesses and the secrets of direct selling. A number of students from the college participated.
The workshop aimed to enhance students' knowledge of small businesses and their implementation mechanisms, and to introduce them to the essential steps for establishing a successful project.
The workshop, presented by instructor Tahani Jassim Mohammed and trainer Sarah Abdul Razzaq Saleh, covered several topics, including the concept of entrepreneurship, the fundamentals of choosing a project idea, a simplified feasibility study, and direct selling strategies.
The workshop also featured the presentation of several entrepreneurial ideas suitable for students, along with practical examples that reinforced the practical aspects and solidified the theoretical concepts.
