A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra examined the manifestations of objectification in contemporary world painting in the light of capitalist thought.
The thesis presented by researcher Asma Saad Kazem aims to identify the manifestations of objectification in global painting in the light of contemporary capitalist thought and its temporal boundaries from 2000 to 2025.
The thesis included a study working on the aesthetic side, especially in World painting in the light of industrial and technological development after the influence of art on contemporary capitalism.
The letter concluded that many artists relied on simplification and repetition in the composition of the painting not only as an aesthetic choice, but as a critical Act through which the emptying of man from his depth in the capitalist system is manifested.
