Basrah - Pharmacy College Media:
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah discussed a Master's thesis titled:
"Use of Structured Lipid Nanocarriers to Improve the Intestinal Permeability of Linagliptin."
The study, presented by student Saad Mohaisen Thamer, focused on developing nanostructured lipid carriers (SLNs) for Linagliptin to enhance its pharmacological properties and oral bioavailability through advanced synthesis techniques.

Results showed a significant increase in intestinal permeability and drug flux, effectively reducing the first-pass liver metabolism. This study underscores the potential of lipid nanocarriers for optimizing the delivery of poorly bioavailable orally administered medications.
