Dr. Makia Mahlal Khalaf, a faculty member in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science, participated in the discussion of the master's thesis of student Noor Hamid Fakher, entitled (A Study of Nutrient Concentrations in the Sediments and Waters of the Southern Part of the Shatt al-Arab and Northwest of the Arabian Gulf), which was organized by the College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra.
