A doctoral dissertation at the College of Education for Humanities investigated the impact of the Roberts and James-Gilliland models on developing psychological resilience among high school bullying victims.
The dissertation, submitted by student Hind Faisal Attia, aimed to identify the impact of the Roberts and James-Gilliland models on developing psychological resilience among high school bullying victims and to determine which model had the greater effect.
The dissertation employed an experimental design with pre- and post-tests for two experimental groups and a control group. A sample of 15 female students who scored lowest on psychological resilience was selected and divided into two groups (experimental group 1, experimental group 2, and control group) with 5 students in each. The dissertation also included the development of a "Psychological Resilience" scale and the adoption of a "Bullying Victims" scale, the validity and reliability of which were confirmed using appropriate statistical methods
