A doctoral dissertation at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra explored the Prophet's biography as presented by Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn (peace be upon him): a historical study in al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya.
The dissertation, submitted by student Adel Abdul-Nabi Dhaif, aimed to understand the Prophet's biography through texts that discuss key aspects of it as presented by Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn al-Sajjad (peace be upon him).
It included an examination of important aspects of the Prophet's biography that tyrannical rulers attempted to obscure and suppress, and an explanation of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) political, economic, and social role through powerful supplications by one of his descendants, Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn Zayn al-Abidin (peace be upon him)
