The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture entitled:
“Design and Implementation of a Secure and Trust-Minimized Bridge Between Two Blockchain Networks.”
The lecture aimed to highlight mechanisms for exchanging data and digital assets between different blockchain networks in a way that ensures the highest security standards, while minimizing reliance on third parties or intermediaries, thus enhancing the efficiency of collaborative work in decentralized systems.
The lecture, presented by researcher Sadiq Ibrahim Sadiq, included an explanation of the challenges facing traditional bridges and the risks of hacking, and a review of technical solutions based on self-verification protocols. The researcher also reviewed the practical aspects of building a technical bridge connecting two different digital blockchain environments, focusing on encryption techniques that ensure the integrity of transactions without the need for a central authority.
