The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah conducted a teaching competency test in applied sciences for a number of applicants holding advanced degrees.
The test aims to evaluate the scientific competence and teaching abilities of the applicants, and the extent to which they possess the necessary academic skills to practice teaching in universities and educational institutions.
The test included delivering scientific lectures before a specialized committee of faculty members to assess their scientific performance, presentation methods, and communication with students.
This test is part of the Center's programs aimed at developing the teaching capabilities of academic staff and improving the quality of the educational process in accordance with the requirements and standards of higher education.
