The Guidance and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, in cooperation with Imam Al-Kadhim College (peace be upon him) in Basra, organized a training course entitled “Principles of Administrative Investigation and its Role in Enhancing Institutional Discipline and the Legitimacy of Disciplinary Penalties.” The course targeted college staff.
The course aimed to enhance legal and administrative awareness among employees, develop their skills in handling administrative issues within sound legal frameworks, and solidify the principles of institutional discipline while familiarizing them with disciplinary procedures and penalties.
The course, presented by Dr. Zahraa Saleh Al-Saidi, Instructor Nour Al-Huda Jamil, Instructor Bassam Yaqoub Abbas, and Instructor Hiba Yousef Al-Asadi, covered several topics, including the concept and importance of administrative investigation, the legal procedures followed in conducting it, the foundations upon which the legitimacy of disciplinary penalties rests, and the mechanisms for their application in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The course also focused on the practical aspects of managing administrative investigations, as well as ways to enhance transparency and integrity in administrative work within educational institutions
