A master's thesis at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, examined the impact of oil revenues on the bank liquidity of a sample of banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange for the period 2014–2023.

The thesis, submitted by student Mayameen Majid Jawad, aimed to analyze the relationship between fluctuations in oil revenues and levels of bank liquidity through an applied study on a sample of seven banks, demonstrating the impact of economic changes on liquidity indicators during the study period.

The thesis included an analysis of liquidity indicators and tracking their trends over time, comparing the performance of the banks and highlighting the variation in their responses to fluctuations in oil revenues.

The thesis concluded that the banks' performance was characterized by relative instability, with varying liquidity management efficiency, indicating that the relationship was not direct and consistent.

The thesis recommended enhancing liquidity management efficiency and adopting more flexible policies to achieve a balance between liquidity and profitability.
