The College of Humanities at the University of Basra organized a scientific seminar on the applications of artificial intelligence in education. The seminar aimed to highlight the applications of artificial intelligence and the transformation it has brought about in the development of various vital sectors.
The seminar, presented by lecturers Zainab Hadi Zaalan and Karrar Ali Ta'ma, included an explanation of the nature of artificial intelligence, its effectiveness in the educational system, and its superior ability to achieve the principle of personalized education through big data analysis, understanding the individual needs and abilities of each learner, and designing customized learning paths and assessment resources that ensure students' requirements are met with high flexibility.
The seminar emphasized the role of AI in improving content delivery mechanisms, adapting course materials to suit different learning styles, and providing intelligent assistance systems that act as personal mentors, offering support and additional information to enhance understanding and deepen learning
