The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Basrah, organized a scientific visit to Al-Kawthar Teaching Hospital for first-year evening students. The visit aimed to enhance students' practical skills and connect academic concepts with real-world applications in healthcare institutions.
The visit included an introduction to the intelligent medical systems used within the hospital, familiarization with modern technologies employed in the healthcare field, and the mechanisms for utilizing technology to support medical services and improve operational efficiency within healthcare institutions. Students also learned about the integration of computer science and medicine in modern medical applications.
Furthermore, the visit provided students with an opportunity to learn about the equipment and software used in managing medical data and the electronic systems used to monitor patient cases. This contributed to developing their scientific and practical skills within the field of intelligent medical systems.
