Dissertation of the doctoral thesis in the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences, Basra University, regarding the tasks of transportation in the spatial distribution of large manufacturing industries in Dhi Qar Governorate.
The aim of the thesis presented by the student Bassam Abdulbari Handi Al-Khazaei is to explain the extent of the impact of the transportation costs on the geographical distribution of large manufacturing industries in Dhi Qar governorate and how it contributes to the determination of industrial locations and the extent of the impact on the delivery of goods and industrial products to the markets.
The thesis of the study includes a discussion and analysis of transportation costs in the spatial distribution of large manufacturing industries in Dhi Qar Governorate and the content is divided into four integrated chapters. In the last chapters, the analysis focused on the structural features and the current reality of the facilities in the governorate, while presenting an in-depth study to measure the pivotal role that carries out the transportation tasks in choosing the ideal location for the large industrial facilities
