Dr. Raja Mohammed Abdullah, a faculty member at the Polymer Research Center (Department of Materials Science), has published an international research paper titled "Synthesis and Optical Characteristics of PMMA Polymeric Films Doped with Methylene Blue Dye for Laser Applications." The paper appeared in "Revue Avancés des Matériaux et des Composites" (RCMA), an international peer-reviewed journal published by IIETA in France and indexed in Scopus. The research focuses on preparing polymeric films doped with an organic dye at both high and low concentrations, examining the surface morphology of the films, and enhancing their linear optical properties and optical power limiting (OPL) characteristics. The results demonstrated a distinct optical effect in the samples, confirming the potential for utilizing the prepared films in various optical, electronic, and laser applications.
