The seminar, delivered by researcher Sajad Sabah Idham, a faculty member at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, addressed the types of drugs and psychoactive substances, their compositions and harmful effects, as well as the main causes and factors contributing to their spread. It emphasized the importance of relying on trusted sources and avoiding substances and medications of unknown origin.
The seminar also discussed the risks associated with certain relationships and interactions through social media platforms and chat rooms, including the potential for blackmail or manipulation into unlawful activities. It emphasized the importance of raising awareness and adhering to safe practices to reduce such risks.
