The Polymer Research Center at the University of Basrah held a workshop, presented by Dr. Rajaa Mohammed Abdullah, titled "Preparation and Study of the Optical Properties of Polymer Films Doped with Organic Dyes for Laser Applications." The workshop covered polymers, their benefits, and their fields of application. Furthermore, it provided a detailed explanation of the preparation of polymer films, the enhancement of their linear and non-linear optical properties through doping with organic dyes, and their utilization in laser applications.
