The College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah held a seminar entitled (Three Minute Thesis) with the participation of researchers and specialists on the Zoom platform. The seminar included a lecture given by Dr. Uday Sajjad in which he explained that 3MT is an annual competition held in more than 200 universities around the world and is open to PhD and Masters students, whether they are at the beginning or at the end of their research, and the challenge is for the participating researcher to present the research idea in just 3 minutes to attend Those who often do not have a precise background on the subject, and this competition is an exercise in developing presentation skills, research and academic communication skills, so it is considered one of the most prominent opportunities that may be presented to the student to achieve himself. Dr. Uday added: The aim of this lecture is to convey the idea to develop the skills of graduate students. We also hope that it will be within the curriculum of doctoral students throughout Iraq in order to develop their skills in general.
