The College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled (Self-Confidence) with the participation of researchers and specialists. The workshop included a lecture given by Lecturer Najla Saeed Al-Saffar in which she explained the definitions of self-confidence and the reasons for lack of self-confidence, as well as steps to build self-confidence and some sayings of celebrities in this field. The reasons for lack of self-confidence and the difference between self-confidence from vanity and self-esteem were also highlighted, and a motivational video was shown. On self-confidence, at the beginning of the lecture, he focused on motives for enhancing self-confidence and how to regain self-confidence as a result of exposure to life's challenges. The lecture aimed to clarify what self-confidence is and how to rebuild it for those who have been affected by life's junctures.
