The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, participated in the Second International Conference on E-Learning under the title (To Close Distances), which was organized by the specialized ministerial team with the participation of 100 international and local institutions and more than 50 speakers and international experts.
The participation included a speech by the President of Basra University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and a presentation on the university’s achievements, where he praised the great efforts made by the academics to find solutions to confront the Corona pandemic and not to waste the school year despite the lack of clarity about how to end it. Day and night, everyone succeeded in establishing E-learning that went towards integration, sobriety and smoothness, while preserving educational values
Shaheen added, with the beginning of the current academic year, we set out towards blended education, which was an option and a challenge by providing an integrated education package through the attendance laboratories on the campus with virtual interactive lectures as well as digital learning resources and smart courses, and it was an important strategic choice for success.
And about the University of Basra, Shaheen mentioned, our university has gradually turned into a digital university, and we have made many achievements with the support of the ministerial team, and it entered the international rankings, as it ranked first locally.
