The president of university of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, honored the members of the classification unit in college of Science, Dr. Mazin Awni Mahdi and Dr. Jalal Jabbar Hassan, for their efforts in helping the university to get high rankings in international classifications
The dean assistant for scientific affairs in college of Science, Dr. Alaa Hassan Abdullah, said: “In a remarkable achievement, university of Basrah achieved high rankings in international classifications as it ranked first between the Iraqi universities in the Times British Ranking and second in RUR Russian Ranking which reflects the prominent place of the university among other local and international universities. It is worth mentioning that the efforts of the members of the classification unit had a major impact on these rankings, thus we extend out gratitude for them hoping for even greater progress for our university in the future”
