The Director of Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, participated in a video-communication workshop held by the University College of Wisdom and in cooperation with the Research and Development Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research entitled "Accelerating the digital transformation and its challenges in education".
The workshop, which was attended by researchers and interested persons from Iraqi, Arab and international universities, discussed the strategy pursued by the Digital Transformation Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in accordance with international standards for its professional application.
The workshop included introducing the components and stages of digital transformation and the basic requirements of trained human resources, software and a database that meet the ambition, as well as discussing the most important challenges facing digital transformation and ways to solve them by modern scientific means.
