Professor Falah Hassan Shri, a teaching member staff at the College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah , participated in the workshop held by the College of Agriculture under the title (Corona vaccines - scientific facts) with the participation of researchers and specialists. The workshop included giving lectures from researchers in this field and the most important scientific facts about taking the vaccine and explaining its importance, types, and the effectiveness of each type. The workshop also clarified the most important concerns facing individuals from taking the vaccine based on non-scientific interpretations, which led to the reluctance of most individuals to take it and the most important of these reasons Is that these vaccines change the genetic code, while they create short-term immunity against the virus so that what is called herd immunity and salvation from the epidemic occurs.
