The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (Some diseases associated with the scalp) by the graduate student Muhammed Hassan Muhammed, The study aim is the study of scalp pathogens and included A review of the normal flora bacteria in the scalp and their potential functional role for a healthy scalp, a review of the pathogenic bacterial species that cause scalp diseases, and a review of the pathogenic fungal species that cause scalp infections.
