The College of Education for Human sciences at University of Basrah organized its second international scientific conference entitled (Arabic and Modern-Day Requirements) in which Iraqi, Arab and international universities participated
The conference aimed to demonstrate the importance of the Arabic language and to clarify its role in the openness of cognitive and behavioral awareness, understanding and recognition of the academic community in particular and other categories of society in general, as well as to identify the most important problems that negatively affect the integrity of the Arabic language theoretically and scientifically
The conference included the presentation of 17 research papers that attempted to find effective solutions to address matters through linguistic and literary efforts based on scientific dimensions
