
The Private Higher Education Council held its fourth session and discussed the indicators of publishing in international containers and raising the level of contribution of qualitative scientific research
The head of the supervision office, Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, who chaired the meeting of the fourth session, in the presence of the director of the Studies and Planning Department, representatives of the Private University Education Department and members of the Private Education Council of university presidents and deans of colleges, said that private universities and colleges have a positive presence in terms of publishing in global containers and contributing to strengthen the important transition that Iraq has achieved in the field of scientific research in international containers, pointing out that Iraqi public and private universities were able to publish more than seventy-four thousand scientific research, which made Iraq ranked forty-fifth in the world, sixth in the Middle East and third in the Arab world, which made important international organizations praise this achievement
The attendees discussed the axes of the agenda, including e-learning, the reliability of lectures and electronic platforms that are subject to monitoring, supervision and follow-up by a specialized ministerial team
The council touched on a number of data related to the development of the educational process, improving its outcomes, mechanisms of developing private universities and colleges, and criteria for free scholarships for the academic year 2021-2022
