Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra participated in the activities of the first virtual conference entitled (Development and education are strength for the individual and society in the era of digital transformation), which was organized by the Center for Development and Continuing Education in cooperation with the Malaysian (Ared) platform, where a presentation entitled “E-Learning and Digital Transformation: Inspired Lessons” Challenges and Moving Forward" The importance of e-learning in supporting education and the use of distance learning was reviewed.
The presentation included an explanation of the importance of reviewing teaching methods in light of the technical development taking place globally and the diversity of classrooms using different means such as blended learning and synchronous and asynchronous classes. It also included the introduction of a new integrated curriculum for teaching methods that serves our university.
The presentation aims to introduce digital transformation, its importance and the mechanisms for its application through a review of our university's infrastructure, network development and database, as well as qualifying cadres specialized in software and electronic protection organizations.
