The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, inaugurated the animal field in the College of Agriculture after rehabilitating it to create a suitable environment for raising livestock and sheep
The establishment of the field aimed for conducting agricultural experiments and for undergraduate and postgraduate students’ observations, as well as being a site for conducting the practical part of workshops and seminars on animal production and setting up training projects for fourth year students and preparing and training them on field work
It is worth mentioning that the field is one of the main production sources of the College of Agriculture, as it produces milk and red meat, with a total capacity of 40 cows and 60 sheep
